• How do you ensure hygiene in the process?

We take hygiene very seriously, almost to an OTT level! We will wash and sanitise all the brushes using professional cleansing products prior to your appointment. We strictly stick to a 'no-double-dipping' rule for any liquid or creamy products. We also provide single use only mascara applicators, however we prefer clients to bring their own mascara as we prefer to stay green.

What is included in the consultation package?

Typically we will spend around 1 hour discussing your desired look or a particular subject you wish to learn about, such as smokey eye application, concealing dark circles, etc. This will be followed by a skin examination, and we will do a full makeup demonstration based on our discussion. This typically takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the tutorial you choose. Total 3-4 hours for the consultation package.

• Do I need to prepare for my consultation or a makeover?

We would always advise our clients not to wear any makeup on the day as this speeds up the process. However, we do understand that this is not always possible and you may feel more comfortable with a little makeup on. Not to worry, your makeup can be removed with our favourite Clarins makeup removing creams and lotions. We'd also like you to send us a few images of your desired look prior to your appointment or bring them with you on the day. This will give us a good idea of what you'd like to achieve. If you have booked a makeover for a special occasion we'd also like to see a picture of your dress so that we can find the best match of colours for your makeup.

• Can I have my makeover or consultation in my own home?

Absolutely! Please state your choice of location when you book. We are happy to travel within Oxfordshire. There will be a small service charge added to your bill if the distance is over 15 miles. We will provide you with a quote prior to your booking.

• Can I use my own makeup for the tutorial?

You are more than welcome to bring any makeup you have. We provide you with some of the best quality professional products so there will be no shortage of shades and finishes. If you have a mascara, please bring it with you.

• Do you carry out a skin allergy test?

No we don't therefore it's important to let us know in advance if you have any specific skin allergies. We can do a patch test on your skin on the day if you have any concerns. The products we choose are professional brands which have already carried out extensive dermatological tests, offering a low risk of causing allergies.

• Which brands and products do you use?

We use professional brands with a high reputation in the industry, offering a wide range of finishes and shades. Our favourites are Hourglass, Charlotte Tilbury, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Mac, Nars, Natasha Denona, Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Jeffery Star, MakeupbyMario and West Barn Co.

• Can I buy any products from you?

We do not sell products to our clients as we want you to enjoy the experience without feeling any pressure to purchase anything afterwards. We are more than happy to provide you with a list of our recommended products which you can purchase in your own time. However, we occasionally carry some of our most popular products and can sell to our clients at RRP on request.

• Can I bring a friend with me?

We are very sorry that we are unable to accommodate friends and family as audiences. The prices are structured on a one-to-one basis. We aim to deliver the highest standard of service to our client within the time frame. But if you would like to book a group session with a friend, or a family member, please get in touch with us and we can provide you a separate quote.

• How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment if I can't make it?

Very easily, just give us a call or email. We would be grateful if you could give us as much notice as possible as we are a very small business. Payments are all taken in advance.

• Is my data protected?

Absolutely. We do not share your data with any third parties. All of our customers data is encrypted and saved securely with our web hosting service provider, strictly under the GDPR regulations.
